A little bit about our speaker

Dr. Patrick Chan, Ph.D., armed with more than 18 years of academics and industry consulting experience, serving various roles ranging from Technical Director to E-Government Specialist to Alliance Director and even a Research Scientist.

Currently serving as Chief Technology Advisor of IDC's Asia/Pacific region and founding member of Emerging Technologies Advisory Council in Singapore, Dr Chan’s expertise are in the areas of Service-Oriented-Architecture (SOA), Business Activity Monitoring, Standards and Integrations, Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure (EAI) and other emerging technologies.

He regularly presents at IDC's CIO summits and leads in IDC's Dynamic IT Benchmarking studies, advising corporate CXOs on their IT business sourcing decisions. His work also includes content creation for IDC's EDGE workshops specifically designed for CIOs in the areas of Dynamic Sourcing, SOAs, Virtualization, ITSM and ITIL V3, IT consolidation and governance.
